Heres a quillon dagger that I just finished up, for your entertainment... The blade and guard are two-bar twisted ws damascus, in CruForgeV and 15n20 steels. The pommel is 1075/15n20 single twist damascus.
The handle core is spiral-fluted hardwood, with herringbone-twisted black iron wire wrap. The ends of the wrap are covered with copper wire turks head knots.
The blade features deep 2 double hollow grinds, and the tang end is peened over the pommel to secure the construction.
This is the first knife that I have marked in this fashion, with just the Promethean torch.
It is a very fun knife to hold and to look at.
Specs are as follows:
Blade Length: 10-7/8
Overall Length: 16-1/2
Max Blade Width: 13/16
Blade Thickness at Ricasso: .162
Weight: 8-1/4 oz.
Balance Point: Center of Guard
Here is a video, (please do watch it, it captures the knife the best) and some pictures. Enjoy!
