11" damascus quillon dagger, wire wrap handle

Here’s a quillon dagger that I just finished up, for your entertainment... The blade and guard are two-bar “twisted w’s” damascus, in CruForgeV and 15n20 steels. The pommel is 1075/15n20 single twist damascus.

The handle core is spiral-fluted hardwood, with herringbone-twisted black iron wire wrap. The ends of the wrap are covered with copper wire turk’s head knots.

The blade features deep 2” double hollow grinds, and the tang end is peened over the pommel to secure the construction.

This is the first knife that I have marked in this fashion, with just the “Promethean” torch.
It is a very fun knife to hold and to look at.

Salem, that blade and handle are just phenomenal. It is so graceful. Just the way I think the blade should look on a quillion dagger. The sculpted handle the way you pushed the wire wrap into the flutes. Killer. Great Job.
