Hello, I was wondering if you guys could help me out, years ago I picked up a 110 & 112 that has 25th anniversary ectched on the blades, 1963-1988 but the stamping is x so I believe it is made in 1990. It has no box or sheath. Any infor would be helpful & also how much would these be worth? Thanks Gary

One of these?

If I recall, I gave about $65.00 for mine a few years ago on Ebay, mint but no box either.

That's it, why were these made in 1990 with the 25th anniversary ectched? Thanks, Gary

I just got mine out and checked it and it's got a 1987 tangstamp on it.

My guess would be that these were a limited run for a certain retailer, SMKW comes to mind, and that they made them for more than just one year.

That would explain the 1963-1988 25th Ann. etching, with blades dated from more than 1 year.

I don't have my records with me but these knives were catalog items for a few years in the late '80s and early '90s. This is not a special project knife. Thousands were made. I would put the value in the $60 to $75 range depending on condition primarlily because of the nickel silver frames.

Richard is correct, they were offered for several years.
The interesting thing about the 112 is that our marketing department goofed! It was not the 25th anniversary of the 112 when they did that project, not even close. This was back before we had an easy way to check on our history and someone in marketing just assumed that the 110 and 112 were introduced at the same time.
The 25th anniversary for the 112 would have been in 1997, since it came out in 1972.

I did picked these up through SMKW back then, Thanks for the info. Gary

What would be the 100 worth today? I have an offer for one of these in box for around 60 USD.

Depends on what knife you're looking at.....110? 112? FG?

I don't care for the 110s, but I like the 112s.

There are variations among them and some would be more rare.

I have a finger groove 112 Annie with brass bolsters that I'm thinking is pretty uncommon.

Even if the one you're looking at is not unusual, $60 is a good price for NIB.

BG,That's the first I have heard of that variation...Does any one have one different??Do you think it was a employees Buck?? Joe could you give some input on this please???Since I collect and display 112's I NEED TO KNOW!!!I just love the oddball Buck, can you post a pic? Thanks!

Hi Bucksway:

Here it is.....

If memory is working right (iffy at best) I think I got this for a good price while watching the new Buy it Nows come onto the Bay. I just grabbed it because it was a 112 Annie at a good price and didn't realize it was anything other than that.

I think I posted something about it here before, but I doubt if I'll be able to find it. I think I recall Joe sounding surprised about it, but he didn't give any details.

I suppose it could be a blade switch or something like that.

Thanks for the pic! Since the FG are so shallow [ most factory I have seen seemed deeper] it just might be a employees knife..That is just a guess..Odd ball Bucks ALWAYS have a story to tell

Ok, I put a couple more pics on the Sunday Picture Show.

I'll compare it with my other FG 112s and get back to you.
