Hi All,

I just got a 110 with nickel that has the 25th anniversary etch on the blade. To my surprise it has a 2003 date stamp on the blade???? Can anyone tell me how many times the 25th anniversary etch has been issued?? and from what years??....Looks like a new collecting endeavor for me...LOL...I think I may need a 110 & 112 from each year these were made (Issued). Any and all help form you Buck experts would be appreciated.

Very recent thread about them, they were made for a few years.

Thanks TLC,

That explain's why I can't find these knives on any of the SP/LE list's. If this was offered for a few years around the "1988" time frame there are going to be multiple tang stamps...87, 88, 89...93??? However, I did not see this listed in the 2003 Buck catalog and again it's not on any of the SP/LE list's....Joe H do you have any information on the 2003 issue?

Thank you

I checked the computer and was surpried to learn that we have been making some of those knives just about every year since they came out.
But there is some confusion as to what the computer says. The part number used for the 25th 110 is also used for a plain jane 110 nickle silver with no etch. Because of this, it is impossible to know which model the computer is talking about. This one remains a mystery. I will see if I can find somebody that can shed some more light on this.

Hi Joe,

Thank you for the info. I took a look at the Buck catalogs on the BCCI web site and see that the 25th 110 was first listed in 1987 and was listed each year untill 1993. In 1994 the catalog had a new black etch with MR. Buck hammering on an anvil and the words "Buck Knives since 1902". Very interesting....If these were issed every year......wow That would be a lot of 25th 110's with different tang stamps :).
