110 4 pin

Hi , does anyone know what the data is for a 2 dot 4 pin 110 is now that Joe Houser divided the version 5 110's in two groups, the 2 pin 5 and the 3 pin 6 . Thanks George God bless

All dates with Buck knives are approximate, but I just narrow the 5th/5th 4 pin 2 dot down to 1976 for ease of keeping tract of my 110 collection.

I figure the 5th/4th 2 pin 2 dot as 1974 and 1975, then the 5th/6th 3 small pin 2 dot as 1977 and finally the 5th/7th 3 large pin 2 dot as 1978 and 1979.

Depending of which data one is reading: the 2 dot stamped blade began in 75 and the small brass handle pins ran 2,4 then 3, in quick order. Then settling on the large 3 brass pins in 76. (Bill Keys) I've discussed this with him and Joe Houser.
Other respected collectors say the 2 dots began in 1974. Another collector says the 2 dots began in 1976. I respect all of these gents so, I take the middle road on this date. DM
