Just tried, about the last 1/4" or so of the blade touches and teh tip, but it doesn't look like the rest of the blade does.

I noticed a while back that if you push down on the blade spine of a closed 110 or 112 the blade sinks deeper into the handle. Can it be pushed in so far that the sharpened edge touches the lock spring and dulls the blade edge?Just curious.
It shouldnt be a problem anyway. I am unsure why you would want to push the blade in? It is not sliding on the inside of the handle either just touching, and it requires some force to push it... I am sure it doesnt touch when in your pocket or sheath.
Although I would bet if you ran it over with your truck or put it in a vise it would dent or dull the blade
