110 and 112 take aparts

Nice collection Z.

If you can find one of these then Tiguy can instruct you on how to create multiple iterations.

The Slim Pro Limited Carbon fiber is a Take Apart ???? How did that get by me!! I'm getting a little older but that's one I missed lol! Some of the new 112's I plan to get down the
road especially the more expensive ones. So now I have see what I missed...

My growing 110 and 112 take aparts…

110 BCCI 3oth ironwood
(2] 112 koa
112 slim pro limited carbon
110 carbon legacy
112 BOTM red micarter
110 BOTM red micater (not show but on its way to me)

What take apart 110 or 112 am I missing, if any?

The 186’s could be set up 4 ways: 1) no tool, no clip, 2) clip, no tool, 3) tool, no clip, and 4) tool and clip. All of your 110 take apart knives can utilize Selector I blades.

Very nice collection! I just missed out on the July 2020 red micarta 112 BOTM when it was released. Haven't been lucky enough to find one on the secondary yet, but makes me appreciate your collection even more!!

To be honest, IMHO, the Red Micarter 112 with the flat black frame is a better looking knife than the new BOTM koa 112. I will be adding the red micarter 110 soon, its mate, as I struck a deal for one.

Zipppo123 Thanks for letting me know about that you can take apart the Carbon Fiber LE 112! I have reached my limit on messages so I will upgrade my membership. I didn't know about that lolol! (Send a note to bossharp at good ol G mail dot com)..Seldom something important in the 112 world goes by me especially about the T-A concept! I've been a big fan of the Take apart since the first one that I belive was the BCCI 110. Extra handles was offered to BCCI members on a very informal basis at the 30th anniversary party. Thanks again for letting me know! I'm planning a separate display of the concept and might even borrow a 110 from my Brother David to display with the 112's.

One way to turn a 560 into a take apart knife is to remove the pivot rivet and install a #2X56TPI screw set which includes a 1/8” diameter internally threaded barrel. Another work around is to take apart an old (fat 1/2’ thick) 560, counter bore the left scale with a #5 counter bore, and use the right hand scale from a model 186 (or install #5X40TPI Helicoils in the right hand scale of a 560. I bought several sets of optional scales for the 110 take apart knife at the 30th BCCI Reunion. They were being sold by the club as a fund raiser. You might want to check with the club to see if they have any left. The offerings were Natural Linen Micarta, Olive Drab Micarta, and Black G-10.

As far as I know no one has offered anything extra for the 112 T-A..110 scales for a regular 110 can be made to fit a 112 in some cases at least I will try a few to see if it will actually work for the T-A..
