Friends--recently got a nice, used 110. Opens like butter, but sometimes doesn't close all the way. Could this be because the spring is weak? And would this explain the smooth, easy opening?
Could the factory repair it so the blade closes all the way consistently, and if so, would I be giving up the nice opening?
It's got a three rivet handle (not counting the spring pin), and the blade stamp reads "BUCK" over "110" followed by an upside-down V. The third line says "U.S.A". Can anyone tell me the approximate vintage? I know it's not very old.
