110 Blade Flea-Bay Question

Yeah BigFish and Darryl...
I looked at ait nd thought it was a chip at first too.
Then I looked again and thought it was too symetrical.
So I post.
Then I look again and think someone chipped it and then machined it.
Went to delete my post to avoid the "That Goose is one stupid :barf: " voices in your head....but can't delete.

Been around enuf to know that a blade wasn't released like that, but then again, I never saw a 110LL until I came here either.

Ya don't know what ya don't know. But I'm thinking I know that is a busted blade.

Thanks!

Isn't that a deliberate option to prevent blood from dripping onto the handle?

That sounds right. It also lets you get a closer grip, like for filleting fishes...

I believe that is meteorite damage. Very rare but it does happen as Trax response shows. Thank God it didn’t hit you instead.

I think it must be the magnetic nature of the meteorites that make them so attracted to knives.
