Anybody know if they're still doing the blade swap (hush-hush) at Buck (for the 110s)?
I had contacted someone a while back when I got my Dad a 110.....now I have my own and would like to get the "upgraded" damascus blade. (was $30 at the time)
Also, will they still swap it if it's been converted to an auto?
Probably not, I guess. I'm sure whoever does the conversion grinds the backside of the blade to fit. Had to ask, though...

still do the blade swaps but...not on a converted knife. FYI, an auto 110 is not covered under Buck's warrantee. I have seen auctions on ebay recently where the seller refers to the knife as "factory authorized" or wording to that effect. If you read the whole auction though, you will see that although it sounds like the seller means it is Buck authorized, they are really only saying that it is authorized by the guy doing the conversion.
