Hello to everyone.
Here are some photos of my vacation - fishing trip in Finland 2012.
I have been vacationing for the last week in Finland , just now returned , and over here is a photo-review for your attention.
I hadn't been familiar with the knife law of Finland, so I have chosen 110 Buck for that trip as the most law polite knife of all others mine.

At the beginning some photoes with the mushrooms , which we have collected in the Finnish forests.
And of course there is Ballantines  :D from DutyFree of Finnish border.

Needless to say that 110 Buck has managed with those mushrooms without any problems , I have sharpened that knife for a shaving rate and it works wonderfull for a long time.

I have to say that this 110 Buck I have received with the help of one American man , I think all you know him well.

Below, you can see some photos of the house in which we have been living during that week.
This is the small summer house of one my old friend , who lives in Saint-Petersburg, Russian Federation.
That summer house is locating on the small island so we need to leave the car on the bank and then float on a boat to that island.

Over here is the whole view of the lake, which we have been fishing and vacationing upon.

Some small catch of the worm catching at the first evening.
We take that fish for our Russian special soup which called "Uha", it is especially nice soup the next morning with slight hangover.:D
Some small roaches, perch and one rudd.

Some fish preparation for the soup "Uha":

Next there were some food preparing , it wasn't a work at all for 110 BUCK AG, this knife has been cutting all sorts of food as hot knife may cut the butter.
Over here you can see standard Russian food for barbecue or picnicing .
Some onion, pepper, salt , lemon and "Shashlik" ( Shish kebab) is ready.

Ballantines carries out a weight role. :D

And the result is tasty and wonderful.

Then there was some more difficult work for 110 AG , there were two thick spine bones of breams.
And again it was not a serious work for BUCK 110 AG, one puncture with some force in the spine bone and then the head was easily cut off the body. Thanks to the heat treatment the knife has still remained shave sharp. The steel of the blade is not a "dry" and not a "soft" one , just as it has to be. There are no scratches, no jams and chips.
The blade shape is very comfortable for belly opening.

Three or five minuts and all the fish was cleaned up for the next preparations.

Your Alaskan Guide is indeed a great knife. I'm happy to hear that it's holding up well for you.

While there, did you have a chance to try or use any of the native Scandinavian knives? I'm a fan of them and have a small collection. They produce pretty unique knives and there's no doubt of their origin when you see one.

Looks like you had a very good time.

The Buck 110 has earned it's keep and is serving you well.

Very nice pictures!

Hello Mr. Dave .
Of course I am familiar with those Scandinavian knives.
I live in Saint-Petersburg , close to the Finnish border , approximately one hundred fifty kilometers , and in my city are some shops with those Scandinavian knives.
All habitants over here know those knives well.
There are some types of those knives, such as Puukko, Tommy etc.
Iisakki Yarvenpaa , Helle from Norvey ,Mora and Fiskars knives, Peltonen , Heimo Roselli .... and some others.

Actually I am а fan of American knives especially with CPM steels on the blade.

Thank you Mr. JB4570!
I am always here when I have the real information about my using of my BUCK knives.
I haven't been writing for a long time over here in order to avoid a flood from my side,
because I am not such a serious collector of BUCK like most of you are.

Yes Mr. Flatlander .
Thank you for that knife , I do really love it especially with its agressive cutting ability. :)
And yes, that trip was awesome.
