Nice looking nice, personally wouldn't buy it for myself. I like knives I can use, not commemorative knives although I have one because my friend on here gave me one. I probably wouldn't buy one though. Can't tell you much about date value. Whats on the tang?

i own this knife in the box as you show
is a 1992 issue
cat number is 8062 number shown made is 1876
this is not a firm number IMHO most likely less then 1500
refered to as the Adolphus Bush , Sr issue
custom stamped blade
with SN XXXX of 1876 shown
shows in box as issued box color is not known..
but have seen in diffrent colors
i paid apx 45$ in 06
this year have seen for as little as 35 and as much as 80
have seen no sales at 60$ min bids
bush is not an americian company
when bush was sold seen many of these hit the market
selling prices as low as 25$
higher prices of late seem to be to over seas...
is a nice gold blade!
jest not as poplar now
any thing else you want to know on it ?

I'd buy one in a heartbeat and wouldn't care at all that Anheuser Busch moved overseas. I like the gold etched blades, so it would be collectable to me (plus, I like some foreign beer:D ).

My mistake I guess. :foot: I don't keep up with the beer companies, so I thought from a previous post that they moved. Did they sell out to an oveseas owner?

Budweiser was sold last year and is now owned by Belgian-Brazilian conglomerate InBev.

Yep Dave,

A lot of company's in the USA are owned by foreign interests now :(. But, the Beer is still brewed here, by US workers. I do know that the plant has been overhauled and is a lot more automated...that = less US workers:o.
