Gotta believe that Idaho is less expensive than California for certain...BTW, to further reduce the cost of doing business around fuel cost, I heard the peeps at the Idaho plant are getting their rickshaw permits soon.textoothpk said:I picked up one of these this past weekend. Unreal price! How in the world does anyone involved in the sale of this 110 make a penny on it? I like the Idaho tang mark as well.
Is this tin deal prove that American knife manufacturers CAN compete with China made crap? Seems to be.
Nce job, Buck!

Goose,
I know you have, (ahem) difficulties, with the Search Function, but after Buck announced the move, I believe summer of '04, there was a great deal of discussion here about "why." Joe and CJ gave some pretty specific reasons, one of them was most definitely the cost of doing business in CA. I don't want to re-open that can of worms, but if you can find those threads, it makes for some extremely interesting reading.
Was gonna get three more of the cookie tin ones for my dad and brothers' Christmas presents. Maybe four (an extra for me).textoothpk said:ummmm.... It's a fine knife.

My local store was out, so I thought I was just out of luck. My first 110 after many 112's.![]()
