True story-- A couple of months back I had a young student attending the welding school that I am an instructor at. The first day of the class, He was trying to poke a hole thru a metal welding rod box so that he could hang it on the side of his booth. He proceeded to pull out his Winchester liner lock to do the job and it closed on his index finger cutting him to the bone. He came to me bleeding all over the floor and I pulled out the first aid kit and got his finger bandaged up. I wanted to take him to the Med center to get a couple of stiches, But he declined . After we all calmed down, I asked to see his knife and he produced the piece of junk that closed on his finger. I asked him if i were to give him a good knife, would he be willing to throw that one in the dumpster? He agreed and I pulled out a Bucklite Max B&C with the Orange (salmon) handles and gave it to him. He was so happy that he almost forgot about his cut finger! He said he had always wanted a Buck knife,But just never had been able to afford one. I had him for a student for 10 weeks and he was still carrying the Buck knife everyday and I still hear from him every week and he always mentions the Buck knife.. He knows he can use it with confidence and it won't fail him.

Sounded better in my head than reading it....need to find something knife related for the third line.....

OK....second try

If you're down and feeling low
Cause your truck might need a tow

To cut that pole to raise the tire
Or to cut and wrap the bailin wire

To trim the hose
Where the water goes

Or wedge the battery cable tight
So you won't be stuck all thru the night

It's not the time to trust your luck
To any other knife than BUCK

Remember the feeling you got when you missed the big buck? How many times has it replayed in your head? When they say you only get one shot it's right in so many ways. Mans most primitive tool, the knife why would you trust just any knife. You want one that's going to last for the next generation, a grand dads knife means allot.
