file work is as diffrent as each that does it.
some is close to fantasy style with lots of curves and flame type points
some of the other work is much more functional.
file work started as cuts on the back of the blade to incress control.
from there it went to visual enhancement - art
to me it is related to a type of engraveing
some that post here do file work.
there are some that sell on ebay some of the custom work they do
and you might contact then for information
Eric at arkknives on here on BF did some horse tradeing with me and
offered file work but i only wanted the handle work [which was Great!].
i do schrimshaw for a hobby and hope to explore
file work as well as engraveing some day.
