  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

110 Finger Grooves

...According to some documentation I've received from an astute forum member, they were introduced in 1982 just prior to the introduction of radiused edges on the knife...It is an 8th version, variation 2. This knife has 2 dots on the left and right side of the 110. I hope this was of some help...And I'd also like to welcome you to the forum. Our "official" greeter, Chickentrax, will be along shortly to give you a proper welcome. Have fun in the Buck forum...

Thanks for the detailed info and the welcome.. :D
I've already met a few of the other guys, this is the only forum I've posted on and boy do you guys know your stuff.
Cheers, Graham.

Not totally related to your post Jollyjumbuck, but I picked up my first 110 FG a few weeks ago. I am amazed at how much different if feels in the hand compared to a regular 110. It is hard to say it is "better" because I'm so used to my other 110's but it's amazing how much difference a few finger grooves in a handle make in the feel of a knife!

Hi messersmith, I'm hoping to pick one up next week, so I appreciate your description, I can't wait to see the difference myself.
