And for my next Buck purchase I'm looking at the 110 or 346. I like them both and have neither. They are the same price, Ebony 110 and nylon/redwood 346. I should get both and may eventually but I like to space out my purchases so there is a package in the mail every week. Keeps the wife guessing.

Use: Truck/camping or yard work, not EDC.

Hunting season is upon us.....
The 110 can come in handy there.

I like the Vantage knives, but if had to choose a 110 or a 346 the 110 would win out.
The 110 is more capable.

Come to think of it, I misplaced my 346 some time ago. I should get another. Lol.

When many people think of Buck knives, the 110 is the first model to pop up.

It is an Icon, and once held, you can literally feel the history. Each one is a bit unique, as they are hand finished. They come with a real leather sheath, which upon opening a new one I always take a great big whiff of. I love the smell of leather.

I have been carrying my 110 Slim Pro a lot, a lot more than I thought I would. I find the original, basic 110 is difficult to pocket carry, even with a clip. This 110 Slim Pro almost disappears...I'd suggest the 110. Oh, I carried a Vantage for awhile, the Slim Pro bests it, also.

I have several of both 110 and Vantage pros, one small and three large. You picked some good ones to start with and I know you will enjoy them. You can’t go wrong with either one but my preference would be to get the 110 first. And I have different models of 110, the standard, Pro, LT, Slim pro and my first in 1989 a Damascus Stag 110. The reason I would get a 110 first is because it really is a versatile knife that can handle rugged duty and you will get the experience of handling a classic that has earned the title of iconic hunting knife that has sold tens of millions.
The Vantage can spoil you as an edc as it’s quick, handy and just nice looking too. Paired with the 110 you can do a lot.

I'd go standard 110 and belt carry. You won't notice the weight on your belt.
Alternate would be the 110LT if you're going to insist on pocket carry. (No pocket clip) I still carry my 110LT's on my belt.

if you don't own a 110 yet and are even remotely interested then it's the one to buy.
You can even start with the 110lt if you want.

Buck 110 first.

All adult Americans should have a Buck 110 (and a 1911A1, an AR-15, a Remington 870, etc.)

Agree with everything you said, excepting I like to pair my Buck Knives with a Winchester Model 12! OH

Nothing says you can't also have a Model 12! Yours appears to be an effective bunny harvester.

How did you prepare those for the table?

This thread answered my question... AND other questions (R870 is on the list now or W12) But thank you guys, i'll push the 110 up my list.
