First off this is not a bashing thread, I love Buck knives especially the 110. I decided when the Lochsa limited edition knife became available that I would pick one up as it was quite different than any other 110 in my collection.
Received the knife the other day and initial impression was quite positive, pretty cool 110 and thanks to Biggerjon's Youtube video was able to open it with the thumb stud quit easily.
However on closer inspection a couple concerns popped out, one is the lock bar is not flush with the knife closed, while few of my 110's are perfect none is off to this degree, raised in the back and down in the front. It is fine with the blade open.
The other concern is at the thumb area at the back it looks like they slipped when grinding the covers and took a small chunk out of the cover.
Here are a few pictures,I trust you all, if you think I'm being too picky I'll just use it as is, otherwise I think this will be the first Buck I have to send back.
If you look above the anvil in the belt clip you can see the fault with the grinding of the cover
