110 nail nick

Quick question about the 110. Were there ever any 110s made with no nail nick? I have some earlier 112 models without one.

Most all of the 110's back to 1964 have them.....however, there's always an exception. There are a few limited production 110s with spear point & drop point blades that do not have nail nicks.

howdy scott good to see an old timer again !
while at buck I talked with a 45 year with buck old timer that was saying that some times they
sanded the blade to were the nail nick was not useful, not often but some time almost not there
but oh yes I forgot of the few special blades that did not have the nail nick

Buck did not start putting a nail nick on 112's until 1980. DM

I did see one about two years ago it was a clip point and was released in the mid 90s ,

but sadly it belonged to someone else and they were not selling maybe next time .
