$35.61 each, store closing due to lease loss and Cabela's moving in (Tualatin!) so 25% off sporting goods, 110 (nylon sheath) plus Nano in a blister pack. So I got two and left two on the hook in the locked case. The blister pack enables you to see if the blade is centered closed, how tight the fitment is on the back and what the wood/rivets look like on one side. I haven't seen this combo before but then I rarely visit brick stores these days.

Are those leather sheaths, at least the left one looks like it. I have to pick one of those packs up to complete my black Bantam selection.

Nice pick up Steve.

Nope, unfortunately, both sheaths are nylon.

The closing store is a big box discount retailer. When I was in the steel trade I would visit them for a dozen submarine sandwiches and a case of cold beer for lunch for the hard-working crew of metal workers on the 12 hour graveyard shift. The good old days when the pipeline was being built up north and money flowed like a broken oil pipeline in this neck of the woods.

A few more pics for your amusement:

Desert Dave,

Did you use the set or is it in the vault?

I have my orange nano hanging on a keychain from a magnet on my desk lamp. Not many orange ones around. Our friend in Post Falls has em.

My orange Nano along side of imafritz's black Nano. Pretty cool tiny, but extremely sharp, lock backs.

I don't have it any longer as I gave it away for a gift to a man that had helped me. DM

2007 manufacture date on the 110 with nylon sheath, perfectly centered closed and tight-baby-tight open: Flawless Hunter.

My pleasure Kevin and into the kind hands of the USPS this AM your mailer goes. Oh, uh, erm, address corrected. :)

Off topic.

Out the window this very morning and seen with bleary blod shot eyes:

BTW, embedded in this thread is the location of the new Cabelas store in Oregon: drum roll, Tualatin. You can hit it with a rock from I-5. The exact location is the big box discount store next to Wendy's. Hint: Martha Stewart. Got it? Much speculation on this but now you know, I think...

We raised beef years ago and had little goats, taught the kids animal husbandry and it is nice to have animal life on the place, which would climb up onto the backs of the cattle like they belonged there. Cows didn't seem to mind. This deer reminded me to that comic scene. Kind of goat-like behavior. Wife issued oath, I won't repeat here, threatening this character and fawn (fiddling off camera) to not eat her pumpkins which she marks with a nail the names of kids she later gives Halloween named pumpkins to. She is all bluster but will run the deer off once in a while.

Thanks again Steve, a package arrived from Oregon today carrying a sweet little 283:thumbup:

Apparently you think I have a nail hygene issue, cant keep track of loose keys and find my way in the dark:p

Those are all neat little items, I see why you carry those scissors around...handy little fellas.

Thanks again so much!!

Congrats on completing the beautiful black Bantam back lock bunch.

I'm happy that You like the Slip-N-Snip scissors. It is hard to cut yourself when using scissors. Safer than a knife in some applications. And, they are not likely to scare many pilgrims when in use. I use mine just about daily. Made in southern Oregon.

My pleasure. All the best.
