I've had a couple of 110's in the past and you don't realise how much you miss them until they are gone .My new one is a 2008 model with very little blade play and very good fit and finish . I'm so pleased with it . It also came with a nylon sheath which makes a change although theres nothing wrong with the leather ones .

Just a quick question , what is the wood they use in the handles please ?

Thanks

vedrrrrrrry durable handle material
slippery when wet
not like a rubber bucky!
good grip even in wet gopher guts!

They say it is to become "green"(dont care) but also very strong and able to hold up which makes it well worth it:thumbup:

I just realized the O.P. is a Brit.
So how do you get to use your 110 with breaking the law?
110s Lock and have blades over 3 inches which makes them double dippers on the bad knife list.

They are not illegal to own . and you can carry one if you have a very good reason ;)

But it is illegal to carry a locking knife as well as any knife over 3 inches for all practical purposes, yes? Is it not the local constabulary that decides if you have good cause to carry? Its just that it seems like a open ended law with that good reason clause.

That's to bad as a sturdy knife like the 110 is quite handy at times for all kinds of tasks other than just gutting a deer at the hunting camp.
