Found a 110 Painted Pony (new in display case) at a Pawn Shop and was wondering if there was a average price range for these? I understand that individual patterns, materials and degree of embellishment can effect price/desireablility but thought there might be an average rate on the secondary market I could use as a guide should I decide to buy this one?

hi , yes mikes work is great looking is it not!
as to pricing his work... i cant answer that for you..
he has of the recent past become associated with buck as a suppler ..
when it become know that he was supplying knives for buck
all of his work went up in value in the resale market
prier to this most of his work did not bring as much on sites such as ebay

his knives are treated by buck as David Yellowhorse's knives are
if sold through buck, bucks warranty apply s to them
if sold directly from him or painted pony they are only covered by
his warranty...
i look to his higher end knives and the ones sold through Buck
to be bargain's to pick up now as i feel his work will increase over the years..
this happens to the better of the knife makers/customiser's
work as they become well know and they develop a following of their work..
as the case with DY , Leroy Remer, Reddrum, ARK's, Ghosttown , and others ..
but as i would tell any collector
dont buy it because it seems that it is a steal deal and an investment
buy a custom knife because you like it and want it really bad..
