I have an Idaho Buck 110. I just wondered how much I should have to press the lock back button down to release (unlock) the blade? I don't have to press it down that far at all and it seems like it may be a concern. Am I being paranoid?

Thanks! :)

I'll see if I can take a pic or two when I get home.

Could be dirty .... not letting blade and lock fully engage.Look at the blade where the lock cut out is located,if it is not packed full of crud send it to Buck
.... it should lock solid and release arm should be pressed about 1/8 " to release.

OK, I think I'm ok then. Thanks guys.

Mine is also about 1/8". It's brand new and has never been used I was just playin around with it after reading the 110 stories thread. Heck I'm still reading that thread. :D

Here's a picture of how much it takes to unlock my 110. It seems like it may be right around 1/8" or a little more. I'm talking about how far the lock bar comes up right by the tang.

Still look good?

Yeah, it does. It seems like it raises almost double that when I close it. It comes up quite a bit.
