Just a curiosity question. Seeing an ebay ad for a 'rare' 110 got me to wondering.
Anyone have an idea how many 110's Buck makes a year?

Over 15 million made and I'm sure the number of buck 110s produced every year goes up with the ability to purchase all the parts and do a final assembly at the plant. Hard to say exactly.

Given Mike's 15 milliion divided by 57 years gives a 263,000 per year average.
Surely current annual production today is higher than 1964, would that put it well over 300,000?

Does Buck purchase parts for the 110?

Since 2018 Buck Knives has been in partnership with Taylor Guitar Co to import a non-threatened ebony for the return to beautiful genuine ebony scales. They had to go to a manufactured wood for a few decades until they found this new source - absolutely gorgeous handles nowadays - we are in a golden era (getcha one!). OH
