110 Slim Pro thumb stud fastener

My 110 slim pro arrived with a loose thumb stud. Unfortunately, none of my tools seem to fit it. As dark as it is in there, I'm not even sure if it is hex/allen or torx. What size tool do I need to reattach it? Thanks in advance.

I don't know what tool you need but I like the way they did that. The thumb stud on the 112 I have was pressed together. I had to pull it apart with pliers to remove it.

I will check mine when I get home to see what fits. I just assumed that there was an allen set screw in there.

Seems to be a T5 torx. I didn't break mine loose, but snugged in there good.

I looked at mine with a lighted 10x loupe and it appears that it is a hex, but smaller than the 1/8” which is the smallest one that I have at this moment. My really small drivers are buried at this time, though!!

Thanks for checking. My hex didn't go small enough and my little Knafs tool only has T6 and T8. I guess I have an excuse to buy more tools.

Like I needed that.

I removed the thumb stud on my new 110 and added a "Kwik Thumb Bar" the thumbstud takes a SAE 0.050 allen wrench.
