The blade on my 1 year old 110 slim select is not staying closed. It is a inexpensive knife, would It be lame for me to send it back to Buck?

If you like the knife send it in. It's probably cheaper to send it in than to buy a new one.

Glad they got it straightened out for you. Opening in the pocket isn't a good thing.
You should still get the 112 you mentioned in the earlier post though.:)

The knives I carry do that from time to time and it is mostly because of pocket lint and gunk. I clean them really well and oil them, working them open and close and they are good to go with a good snap closing.

It was replaced because of "worn spring". I did keep it clean and didn't abuse it, not sure why the spring would wear. If it happens again I wouldn't send it in I would just buy another.
