The blade on my 1 year old 110 slim select is not staying closed. It is a inexpensive knife, would It be lame for me to send it back to Buck?

yep send it in under warranty......Buck will get it straightened out or send ya a new one....I am not sure about the terminology, but it opens up partially when it is in my pocket.
I would have it in tomorrow mornings mail, Buck would want you to send it in too - opening in your pocket is bad news. OHit opens up partially when it is in my pocket.
It was replaced because of "worn spring". I did keep it clean and didn't abuse it, not sure why the spring would wear. If it happens again I wouldn't send it in I would just buy another.The knives I carry do that from time to time and it is mostly because of pocket lint and gunk. I clean them really well and oil them, working them open and close and they are good to go with a good snap closing.
I may buy the 112.Glad they got it straightened out for you. Opening in the pocket isn't a good thing.
