Hello those of great Buck knowledge. I was hoping someone could give me a ballpark value for a 110 1st edition Ti with the clip and tool. Condition...never out of the box...well ok once or twice...since new. The reason I ask is because I ran across a photo of it in Homer M. Brett's book on pg 375. I wonder if anyone can fill in the time line or history thereafter. In 6 months of EBay browsing I have yet to run accross one. Thanks in advance.....Skweegee TM.

More properly called the 186. Not sure on the value though. I believe its about a decade old. It was replaced by the 560.

I bought it new in 1987, and it cost me $85 at a knife store, even have the receipts, box, instructions for take down. I did send it into Buck about a year ago, and had 2 blades made up for it in BG42, partially serrated, and the other in plain edge. I even put the "Bandit" thumbstuds on the blades so it would be a "Buckbenza" :D
I have seen only one other at a gun, and knife show a couple of years ago, and the guy wanted $250 for it but I think he was just testing the waters so to speak.
As far as what it is really worth I would check Levines knife value book or ask in the Levine Forum over on Knifeforums to get a more real value of what it is worth.
Hope this helps.

Just as information, Bernard has a forum here as well. It's over in General Knife Discussion. He might have additional information, but I don't believe he does free valuations. However, someone else may take a "cut" at your knife and it's value. :D
