I have several two dot 110's. I noticed the u.s.a. is larger on one of them along with the nail notch being larger and seems to have a slightly different blade shape than the others. Have not checked all of them yet. Is there a Year this started or was common? Thanks for any help...

You should check out the "sticky" thread towards the top of all the threads named: revised 110/112 data sheet as of --->5/1/08
Your 110 could be 1 of 4 variations. I don't know that research information of the 110 has been refined to the point of distinguishing the size of the "USA" stamp. I know the nail nick size hasn't been fully defined by variation, and I've found several identical versions & variations...except the nail nicks were very different sizes.

Thanks Scott, I saw that which makes them both 5th version variation 7. I looked at the two knives again side by side and the buck and 110 are bigger also along with the USA, the blade also goes back farther in the frame when opened. Just curious more than anything.

2dots are the best! I've got a 2dot, an '89 FG and had a 2013 I gave to my cousin. I can get the 89 the sharpest but the 2dot with 440C will hold a great edge FOREVER!
