Yes a BUCK* (Buck dot) is the third version, Integral Brass Spacer/ Spring holder First variation of 9. Inverted Left hand tang stamp, 440C steel. Butt rivets visible on left side of rear bolster only. Blade rivet on both sides of front bolsters. Inlay rivets 2 (tiny), Rocker rivet,Brass no head. Made approximately 1967. Go to the sticky's above third up from bottom where Joe Houser wrote : Revised 110/112 Data Sheet as of 01/15/09.

Ratty, look at the two 110s you listed for sale. The Rocker Rivet is mushroomed over (Head) above the wood handle. On this one the Rocker Rivet is sanded smooth to the wood (no head).

Thanks JB. Thats how I thought it was.
But I am fondling a Ver3 Var2 Similar to OP pic and the rocker rivet
is definitely a mushroom bump as prominent as any stainless rocker.

But then to go on to three Three Ver Var 3 and they are smooth or close, to flush with the scales. And left side may be smaller than right side.

Its just this third Ver3 Var2 with the bump brass rocker that has me cornfused.

I think Joe mentioned in the past that there could be some differences..

oh yeah, This Ver 3 Var2 was one that went under water for 6 days in Harvey flood. Lost the box and paper. The A sheath cleaned up ok as did the minty knife. But I guess I cant call it minty any longer.

I also like the 3rd version better than these 4th versions.
The third are slightly thinner at the front and rear than the 4th ver.
My mic is still awol from the flood so can't give a good measurment.
But noticeable if you have any 3 and 4 Ver.
