Greetings from Russia!
I too like Buck knifes. And here my small collection of 110

My favourite Cabela's Alaskan Guide:

Welcome aboard! You found a good place since your a Buck man!!

Nice!! I like all four. The knife in black is that a smooth buffalo with 420hc blade from the custom shop?

I recently bought the Ironwood AG110 myself...

How do you buy your Buck's over there in Moscow? Dealers in Russia or via the internet from the States?

Thanks Flatlander1963!
The Buck in Black is smooth buffalo with s30v satin finish blade from the custom shop.

There is short story about it's:
In May 2009 I was in the USA. In Las Vegas where I was, I has bought a BassPro 110. Then I have visited Anchorage, there lives my brother. He has presented to me AG 110 Rosenwood and AG Vanguard. The Buck in Black I have bought here in Moscow from the person who often goes in the USA. And the last AG ironwood, it's brother's present on Cristmas - he knows that I like knives and especially Buck.

About knives in Moscow.
Here we have some knives shops which are dealers of the knives companies. But the prices in these shops twice above :( We can buy knives in an internet shop. But not all shops works with Russia.

Nice pictures RBasil, years ago 2 guys tried to rob me down here on the Mexican Border. One of them had a knife, instead of pulling out my wallet out came a 110 Buck. They cussed at me and took off.

WOW! You sure knew how to start. My initital accumuilatons were devoid of the taste shown there. NIce Stuff!!! MOst of those are my favorites and i think i have nearly all. I think you should get another one like the first one and change it to Nickel Silver Bolsters. I think they look better with a black scale knife and they dont scratch nearly as much as Brass it seems. I now handle all my new knives with white Gloves because of the sensitivity of the Bolsters.

Greetings to all!
Thanks you for warm reception!

I hope that my collection will grow. Here at a forum I already saw knifes which I would like to buy.
I'm going to be a BCC member, but it is not assured, whether they work with Russia

There are cases when parcels are lost on road, happen when them detain at customs and them send back. But usually if you do not order anything terrible - all reaches normally.
Now you will frighten nobody by Buck 110 :)

I plan to order in Custom shop a knife s30v blade, nickel bolster + waterbuffalo handle and next one black blade + nickel bolster + waterbuffalo handle in future.
110 AG with rosenwood is my EDC knife. All other will be polish and placed in special box with glass cover.

RBasil, when I worked in Russia for a year some time ago I always brought Buck knives to give as gifts. People there really liked them. Tell me, is there a good manufacturer of Russian knives? What are some good makes and models?

Wolfdog
In Russia, unfortunately there are not enough manufacturers of good knifes.
Firms letting out good knifes:
RVS
http://rvs-knife.ru/
Asgard
http://www.asgard-messer.ru/
SLON Knife
http://www.sloneg.com/

There are knifemakers who let out good knifes. But it not industrial production.
Knifemakers:

Cheburkov A
http://www.tarpan.biz/

Shirogorov Sergey
http://www.shirogorov.com/

Shokuroff Alexey
http://www.shokuroff.ru/

Arhangelskiy Leonid and Maria
http://www.arhangelskie.com/

All sites in Russian, but on pictures it is possible to see knifes which they let out

Thank you very much, RBasil!

There is some very interesting work by the custom knifemakers!

I'm going to have to study these links more closely. Fortunately I do read a little Russian so I can make out much of it.
