As I was surfing the internet for knives, I ran onto these three with drop point blades, and some interesting scale materials. They may be a special order run for that particular retailer, and were marked with just the anvil, but not a date code.

I may spring for the 112, and maybe a 55. I was just wondering if anyone has an opinion on these, and what you think about not having a date code.s

SK Blades has a couple 110's with a CPM-154 drop point blade. The Shield (110 LT, Blue handle) The Gentleman (Nickel Silver bolsters, black G10 covers) and The Fox (same as the Gentleman, but with orange G10 covers.)
The blades have the date code, too. :)

I prefer drop points as well and wish all my 110/112 were.
I really like the date code! I am also very disapointed in the laser etching they are doing, I have the blue 110 LT from SK have not opened it 30 times and the buck mark is almost gone!
I do like the bolsters on the 55 but have no use for a knife smaller than a 501.
