I searched, and can't find any pics, especially of the thickness comparison. Would anyone happen to be able to show some, please? Thank you.

Interesting. I was not aware of the 500's resemblance to the Canoe pattern.
The other photos I've seen did not clearly show that.

Really need a comparison photo of the 532 as well. Basically the same dimensions of the 112 and 500, but thinner.

I don't see any resemblance to the curves of the canoe, but if you lay the 500 on a 110 it is an exact match on the front half.

Well ... I admit I could use new glasses ... maybe I am imagining it ...

Everyone can have an opinion. To me the Duke is a very different knife than the 112 with the same length blade. Thank you for these comparing photos. DM

fritz, a good photo. The 532 is about the same length blade as the 112 & 500 and thinner. A mid-lock with more point-- less belly type blade.
A lot of customers like that style. A step up in Class & style. DM

I have the 531 and consider it a total dress knife. I like the mid-lock design and carry it some. The other models listed here I wouldn't mind
using for more knife work. I cut up an apple daily. If I got those juices in the blade well of a 532 or 531 it would be hard to get out. Sticky food juices in an engraved blade well or pivot can be hard to get out. DM

In Atlanta at the meeting on Saturday around 2010 Chuck said the 532 was his favorite..I was just thinking I've never seen a Buck folder of any kind damaged by hard use except for tip damage.
