yeah pretty typical for the makers with autos. interstate shipping rules of autos. its a complicated mess of old outdated federal laws. try a dealer.....cant really discuss here how to do it, that's about all I can say.

That stinks, I've been saving a 25% off Buck coupon (on-line only) to order one of these with. NC doesn't restrict you on this type of knife, guess I will try a phone call to Buck on Monday. I'm retired Army but you have to be actively serving to establish a special use account with Buck. Thanks JB. OH

yes Sir. it's frustrating being allowed to own and carry and use legally in many states and the fed rules stop getting them from shipping to you. unless you fall into an exemption. dealers, police, firefighters, active military, and maybe also paramedics...also one armed man. not kidding on that last one. I may have missed one of the exemptions, but ya get the basic idear.

maybe buck will ship it to a buck dealer for you in your state? cant hurt to ask.
