Hello Buck Forum Members,

Can someone please point me to a source for a 112 HORIZONTAL Carry Sheath? Prefer a pouch style or snap (NON-Velcro closure).

Thank you so much for your consideration...

Here's some links below. You can also get the new style sheath for the Leatherman Wave which can be used for horizontal carry. The Leatherman Wave and the Buck 112 use the same size sheath.

Thanks Mrostov!
Quite a set of links. The ones I looked at so far are more tactical looking...if I see something more traditional (leather) I may bite.
I like the 110 ones made by JBWoods...have one and it is too cool for school. May ping him about the 112.
I also have a horizontal quik draw for the 110 and like it as well...may see about putting in a rivet to hold the 112 better.
Speaking of quick draws, here is a vertical 110 quick draw with video. Didn't know you could do video on the bay...

Interesting...the four shown all have lanyard holes, too...is that required for the Quick Draw McGraw sheath???

El Pollo Vestigios...

No, not required. I have the "111..." Classic (Urban Cowboy scroll) in my quick draw. The thing about that style sheath, at least the horizontal I have and, based on the vid clip for the vertical, is that you can only grasp the bolster with your thumb and forefinger...not exactly a confident pull. Even with the thinner build of the aluminum 111 Classic build as compared to a standard 110.

So maybe the lanyard helps in someway if you pull it like you were starting a lawnmower. Dunno.

forgot to add both of mine are for horizontal carry.they're very secure

The smaller sheaths that JB makes are perfect for the 500 but a bit too small for a 112. I think he'd have to do something special.

Snagged a jbWoods 112 Deputy Dawg horizontal. He had one laying around but quit making them due to lack of demand.
Will send pic when I get it...or since summer is a coming, maybe I'll just putt up to Yakima and show you.

Got my Jack Woods Trading Horizontal for my 112 today. It is too cool for school. Matches the 110 unit I've had for a few months now.

Thanks to all for the their links...I have bookmarked some for my other knives, but I like the JBWoods for the classic look that compliments a classic knife. Carries well and the quality is superb.

Here's a pic of a Quick-Draw-McGraw (not JBWoods) and the two "Deputy Dawgs" from Jack...

Nice rigs Goose....Jack sure does nice work doesn't he. A perfect match for a nice knife.

Yep...he does good. Very impressive and reasonable pricing...just like Buck. Like ya said, a perfect match.

So the smaller 'Deputy Dawg' is for the 112? It looks really nice. Is the fit snug enough that the knife can’t fall out?

Yep Willie, that is the 112.

I am wearing it now and it takes a bit of effort totextract the 112. Only prob with it is that you can't use a OAB.

Plan to use this as my EDC for a bit...Will report back if it starts to get loose.

It's been close to a month since I got my horizontal sheath for the 112FG Idaho stamp.

I've carried it every day.

The JBWoods's sheath is as tight as, well, let's just say it's still tight. I wetted it with the 112 equipped with a OAB. Have rode hunderds of miles on the moped with it and it stays tight.

I cannot believe that I didn't discover the 112 sooner. Have to admit though, that the horizontal carry makes all the diff.

Thanks Five-O Mike     and others for their recommendations for what, I thought, when it first came out decades ago was like a HD Sportster...chick knife.

A motorcycle enthusiast....
First bike I ever rode was a Kawi 2stroke triple. Wrecked my first day.
I have owned a couple of Hondas. Good bikes.
Just don't care for Sportys...decent bar-hoppers but not as a primary ride.

Edit: I would love to have a 1970's RD350 Yamaha. Just a random thought.
And to keep this thread on track, I love my 112FG.

ZZJake is advertising a Honda 550. '85 I think, Sounds like he put a ton of money into it.
Seriously restored and fancied up according to his writeup.

He has some 110's advertised also. But no need for yall to look at those. Thats the reason I have been wanting to know about fibron... He called one of his Aqua Fibron.... Uh,,,it has already been spoken for :D and I am still debating about some others.

Sounds like he has had a tragic event in his life.

Back in the early 70's I had a Honda 350 with high rise handle bars. I actually road the damn thing from Chicago to Pittsburgh for a wedding. After I got back to Chicago on Monday I didn't want to sit down for a week. I got run off the road a few times so I sold it before I had to make the trek out to San Diego for my next duty station. I haven't been on a bike since. On the other hand, I love high power sports cars and muscle cars and feel confident and won't get run off the road in one. :D
