Just wondering what a new 112 with nickel silver bolsters and finger grooves would cost? I would love to have one, I wouldn't care if the blade was upgraded or not.

right now the only way to get a fg ns is to buy an old one and they have gone through the roof on flea bay... were they were 12 to 15 used and 20 -25 new they are now 60 +
and that is not fg!
fg ns 112 is rare and you will PAY dearly for it...
and there are many looking for jest that
ain't that right goose?

Yep. That is knife I would really want as an EDC. 112FG, NS. Have yet to see anyone here post a pic of one yet...so I wonder if it even exists.
I would give my first-ex up for one of those!

I personally like the 112 better than the 110 all around, the 110 is just to big IMO, I have worked up several deer, elk, bear, and 1 moose with my 112, I have yet to find anything that I cant get done with a 112 in the field, the 110 is a great knife but not my choice. I know lots of guy's that think they need a huge fixed blade knife or a very large folder (110) to take care of an elk size animal, this couldn't be farther from the truth, you only use the first inch through most all the process, The key is a sharp knife that holds an edge well. The 112 I mentioned above would be a dream knife to me but if I had to pay a $100.00 dollars for it I wouldn't want to use it. Hopefully one day buck will make the 112 as upgradable as the 110.

I didn't realize they were that hard to come by, I seen one on ebay that looked like it was in really good shape sold for $75.00, If I had known how hard they are to come by I would have bid on it.
