Anyone have a 112 with a 5160 drop point? If so how do you like it and can you post a pic please. Thanks

I’ve got one. Never been out of the safe. I think it’s g10??? Not positive and not fond of that part. Had I known the blade has a number etched on it I wouldn’t have bought it. Will most likely move it along first chance I get.
Pic to follow.

One of my favorite EDCs, I can highly recommend it. I've always loved the handle of the 112, but am more of a drop point than clip point kind of guy, so this is perfect. I too like the 5160 blade for the reasons that have been mentioned already, it is very easy to get it scary sharp, and it patinas nicely.

I like it so much that I recently got a second one - the oak gets carried when hard use can be expected, and when I'm in the woods. The charcoal is in my pocket in dressier settings where I still want a capable lockback knife. I say you can't go wrong with these!

Edited to add: The only thing I don't care about much is the big nail nick. Imho these would not need a nick at all... But not a deal breaker for me.

Don't have a pic right now. I have the C&C 112 5160 DP. Besides the brass/black scale combo, it's simly my favorite 112... However... I think one of the reasons I like it so much is because it is abnormally ground on the scales. The bolster near the knife is ground thinner than a stock 112. I don't know if this was a mistake that got through, or if it is on purpose, but I LOVE it. However, I'm torn between picking up another one or trying to grind down one of my other 112's to match the profile.
