I just acquired a 1967 Ontario Survival knife and from what I understand from searching around the only two colors on the pommel are gray and black,
This one has yellow what’s left of it.
I don’t know how to post pictures on here yet.

Sounds like it got painted at some point.
 
Being am new here how do I go about posting pictures?
1. Upload photo to a free image-hosting site such as imgbb
2. After uploading photo, go to the page shown where the photo is hosted.
3. Right-click on the photo, then, from the drop-down menu that appears, select "Copy image address" or similar.
4. On this website, click the image icon at top of posting window, then, in the window that pops up, paste the URL (address) where the pic is located.
