113 Ranger or 662 Alpha

Wanting a new knife

Wanted a comparison between the 113 and 662. All the local to me stores carry neither of them so I have no way of getting my hands on one before hand.

I really like my 110 and that is the draw to the 113. The 662 looks good also.

Anyone who has these please comment and let me know what you thoughts about them.

My first thought is the small Alpha should fit in the RFP of my cargo pants. Second is that I could get a custom 113 with S30v and elk for $200 ... real tough call , both look like good knives!

This is my dilemma too! The S35VN and Pro discount on the stock 662 make it a compelling choice, but the 113 in stag has such a classic, clean look.

If you're into special handles, get the 113 with the elk handle.

I'm willing to bet there's a 662 BOTM in the future with a special handle.
