Hey guys I just got the 113 for Christmas and it is an awesome blade. My only problem is when I go to put it in the sheath it seems to be hitting the side of it, and when I push it all the way down about 2 inches of the handle still stick out. Just wondering if this was something that was normal. Thanks in advance!

This is how mine fit. They are sweet little knives aren't they.

I assume you're referring to the regular Cordura sheath.

If you look at it carefully I think you'll see that the bolster is contacting the plastic liner and thus the knife can't go any farther into the sheath.

If that's the case, what you have is normal.

Save your money and get some fancy leather like the pics of the rich guy above.

:D

I've been looking to buy a leather 113 sheath and as of yet they seem unavailable from Buck's website...
Wonder how long before they list them?

I wouldn't hold my breath.

A huge number of the knives on the website are listed as "Not Currently Available."

It seems that less and less is offered on the website.

I was very pleased with this 105 sheath I got off the Bay (seller said they'll make them for any knife) and I think we have some good leather guys here on the forum.

Good question. They introduced the 113 as a B&C model (stag/distressed brown leather sheath) in 2010 and then this year as a standard catalog model with Macassar Ebony Dymondwood. Maybe the 2012 catalog will have the sheaths available. I'd like the brown sheath for mine instead of the black.

At one point this year, the 113 was available on the website and I used one of my BCCI two knife discounts to get it for $32.
