  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I've heard good things about them, I'd say get it and if you have to sell it for a loss later it certainly won't be a big loss.

Seems a smidge high but then I'm going by plain blade prices. Don't they generally run around $525 new?

I'm not sure how much black blades go for new but given the fact they are so hard to find the $500 price may not be that excessive. It's a seller's market.

You did good, never seen that specific config. before on a Tighe and $500 is right around what they go for anyway.

Brian Tighe has very affordable customs but very good quality. For that price it seems fair, but it all depends on condition, I would ask for plenty of pics and make your own decision, but it seems fair for light use for $500. It is going to be one of the lower prices to get into a custom knife but not losing any quality.

Just a month ago GPKNIVES had a variety of the Brian Tighe Custom Tighe Coon Flipper featuring Fluted Titanium handles and BG-42 for sale for $525 shipped. It lasted for a few days. You can go to the BRIAN TIGHE page on GPKNIVES and sign up for NOTIFY ME OF NEW PRODUCTS.

Also for peace of mind...

I bought a used "like new" Tighe Stick a few years ago. Some of the torx screws had buggered heads from the previous owner using the wrong driver.

I emailed Brian Tighe and asked about buying some. He put a few matching screws and a new pivot in an envelope and mailed them out to me at his expense.
