I don’t check that often but did this evening and seems under “Vintage Buck Fixed blade knives”
there were more than a few 118’s on the auction block or buy now option that were interesting. I’m still looking and though tempted i at this time am in a holding pattern on spending ATM. I know my time will come or not that i will or maybe not punch that ticket and join that 118 club membership card or not lol

Ok but kinda leaning towards an older one. Half the fun is figuring out if the old ones are what the seller says they are. I avoid the sellers with the blurry pictures. Lol

No just looking and learning ATM. One i was studying was $125 so I started watching and got an offer of a $40 discount. Still don’t know if $85 is a good price? $90 ish with shipping. It’s a 3 line no marks so 1972-73? Says it has 4 brown spacers so as you can see i got no idea what is what?

David Nowlin David Nowlin Are you looking at the one in Saratoga Springs? Can't say $85 is bad but depends on what you are wanting, user or show piece? It's gonna need a spa if you want it to look good. The sheath has some cosmetic issues on the backside. 3-line 4-spacer upright was "73-80 so they are somewhat common for the time period. I think you could do better in the $100 range if patient. /Roger (opinions are worth what you paid... :))

Thanks and not that picky. I like users in good condition….yes i’m a cheap skate lol
The 118 would mainly be my way into the 118 club lol. Honestly probably won’t worry too much since the 105 is so close to the 118 and would rather buy a 105 in the New Pro model (green micarta and S35VN) with the club discount it’s hard to beat.
