119 Sheath info needed

I’m trying to determine when Buck started stamping the knife # on the back of the sheaths. Should the sheath for a two line 119 be stamped 119 on the back of the sheath? I believe they didn’t start stamping the model # until the three line versions. Can someone confirm this?
 
i have a two line inverted stamp 119. my sheath has 119 stamped on the belt loop. hope that helps.
 
Another forum member pointed me towards the May 2001 BCCI newsletter so if you are a club member you can view it online. This particular newsletter has been very helpful to me. The article from Joe Houser discusses dating knives and sheaths. From what I gather from the article either sheath could be correct as during that period they were making many changes including sheath suppliers.
 
Your welcome. The Atkinson sheaths were use in 1968 before the sheaths were brought in house. Those have the model # on the belt loop. DM
