119 variation?

I'd like to know more about the 119s with the yellow spacer mentioned in another post. Has anyone turned one up? Joe, Jeff any hints where I might find one?

These would have been shipped as normal product. No telling where they ended up. I'll see if I can post a pic up soon.

I was told that they most likely went to Wal-marts, although it would be anybodies guess as to which ones.

I checked the local Walmart today for 119's with yellow spacers. This is a small store with a total Buck inventory of 7 knives - four 119's, two 112's in the 100th tin box and one Oddessy without a box. Two of the 119's had yellow spacers. It is worth the time to check your local Walmart even if it isn't a super store.

I checked with several of my local Wally World's the other day when these knives were first mentioned in another thread. At that time all the 119's (about 10 between two stores) were standard production with the red spacers. I am friendly with the clerks at the store closest to me and asked them to keep an eye open for the yellow 119's. I got a phone call today that they received a new shipment of knives including 6 or 7 - 119's ALL with yellow spacers. It is definitely worth checking again, and again, and again - or buying the clerk lunch once in awhile
