For no reason but I felt the urge, I just bought a 119. Never had one before. Anyone who has some experience with it love to hear your opinion. Don't know why I bought it just felt like it. Better I get the knife before I spend the money on something stupid like food or rent.;)

Send me that 119....I wouldn't want you to fall prey to that addiction

I like 119s...they have a Special place with me

I love the 119; a great knife, especially for the money. If you bought at K-Mart of WalMart, you got a heck-of-a deal too.

Hi Scott,

Can you post a close up of the Stag 119 top left of case #2? What is the gold etch of? Oh.....Awsome collection of 119"s:thumbup:

I love mine. I only have one with the Aluminum handle. I don't really care for the metal handle, but it is one heck of a knife!

The blade will really hold an edge.

Thanks guys, Bman#10, that is a Champion Bow Limited Dealer Edition, with a buck head lazored into the cocobola handle, very few of these were made.
jb4570, I'll post a pic when the camera recharges, the stag is etched " National Finals Rodeo Las Vegas NFR 1994" #62 of 200

Goshen...
I found this forum while looking for info on the 110. That is what I try to stay focused on in my casual collecting.
But, after camping on this forum for a few months and reading about the 119, I too bought one on a whim. While I now only have three, I plan on getting more as they come around. I use one regularly in the kitchen and have two diff woody's.

It is a great knife and a great value.

You have a 119 with aluminum/metal grip???

Can you post a pic??? I've never seen an aluminum gripped 119 (just phenolic and wood) and I'm interested to see what Buck did with a solid aluminum grip...

One of the guys at our moose camp bought Specials for all the men in his wedding party. The camp looks like a damn 119 commercial! lol

Sounds like you guys love the 119. I think it's gonna be my camping knife this summer.;)

To be honest, the 119 is only half of what you'll want camping...the 120 being the other half...there's just too much chance you'll singe your fingers cooking over an open fire with the 119... ;)

But the 119 will be the first choice for opening cans, cutting hot dogs in half, etc... :)

10-4 on what Chicken clucked.

The 119 is a great camp knife. 120 is a good fire poker :)

I hate to ask this. But do any of you folks have a picture of a 119 next to a Kabar? Just wanting a comparison. I've already made my mind up on the 119 but it may be several weeks before I buy one.
