11O TACTICALS $110 by BCCI

There was also the same knife with BCCI "engraved" in the handle. I could never quite see the "tactical" part of this one. It's like calling any rifle that's all black an "assault" rifle.

I'm not sure they understood what a 'Tatical' really was but they moved in that direction. Still, I really like the drop point S30V blade with no nail nick and the black checkered, laminate handles. This one is a good value compared to the recent offerings. DM

Yep David,

I agree with your comments above. I'm not sure what a drop point -vs- clip point, brushed NK -vs- polished NK, checkered -vs- non-checkered handles have to do with "Tactical" either. Funny this knife also did not appeal to me, I don't know if it was the brushed NK or just the Tacticool name that put me off. If I saw one in hand it would most likely change my mind strange how that works.

The pictures do not do them justice, definately one of the nicest 110's i own.If they had really wanted to make a "tactical 110" they should have done some research, and came up with a 110 that sounds like this:

black dlc coated bolsters.black dlc coated s-30-v drop point, checkered handles in g-10 material.dual thumstuds. That would have been a nice knife.

RB,

Now I would have jumped on your tactical 110, I like that idea! Can you post a good photo of your BCCI Tactical 110?

I've tried so many times to add pics here, and have yet to get one on,mayb my computer settings are the problem,I have no problems adding pictures to any of the other sites i frequent eccept this one.

Wow! I wish Buck would make that blade an offer on the custom page of their website so non BCCI members could have some of that love, I would have to buy at least one custom a quarter if they would do it! hint! hint! Hey Buck do you here me now! hint! hint! I really like it. If I become a BCCI member can I still get one of these?

Yes they are still selling them.

I agree. Shouldn't have called it tactical. Tactical Dymondwood? Unusual makes it a nice verson to have.

Yes, I like it and still want one. Still, while discussing it I would not have refered to it as Tatical. To me the knife is a handsome knife. I merely had concern about the terms used to describe it. Had they made a true tactical I certainly would not have wanted one. DM

Well I can't understand what he says but the 110 Tactical (I almost hate saying that word for this knife) looks great. I think the 110 Drop point may have been better name for it. I would love to have a 110 with the DP S30V blade nickel silver bolsters and black micarta inlays.

Rick, Yes, agreed. Still, the checkered wood is grippy like micarta, strong, water resistant and lighter than micarta. DM

I wish they wouldoffer the blade and grips in the custom shop, but they are still available to buy from bcci at least.I'm considering a new one just so i have a user

I am almost at the point of starting a petition to Buck to put this Blade shape as an option on the customs page of their website. Maybe Buck is afraid of getting to much business!LOL!!! I would buy them like there were no tomorrow! I have stated many times that the 110 is my favorite Buck folder and the Drop Point Blade Option would make it even better, I have always been a fan iof drop points.

OK where do you see these for sale for $110?I'm a member of the BCCIand i never got any notice of any sale.I want another one, dunno where to get it.
