As most know who drop by the Cantina on a regular basis we have some of the finest folks here you'll find anywhere. To wit:
A forumite who does not wish to be identified offered up his favorite 12 inch AK for auction and wants the proceeds to go to Mike L. to perhaps help out a little at Christmas time. This is the reason I'm handling the deal.
Here's the description as emailed to me. The good Samaritan said he'd try to get pix if anybody wants them.
=======================================================
Here is some information about the Khukuri: It's a
horn handled 12" Ang Khola made by Durba. The AK is
really well done and so is the scabbard. In my
opinion, it's a 10/10 effort by Durba. One very sweet
rig. The scabbard fits really well and the tooling is
very nice.
BTW: If you think it would help, I can scan in some
pics of the AK and scabbard them email them to you.
They might not be the best, but I can sure try.
=======================================
Considering the cause I'm going to open bidding myself at the going rate of $100 and see where this takes us.
Merry Christmas, Samaritan!
