Is there such a creature? The 12 inch Sirupatis are nice but I like the Gelbu blade design. Would it be possible to get one done?

also...

Would it be possible to post a list of the Villagers you currently have available Uncle Bill?

Thanks

One 12 inch GS gets expensive and I don't think it's worth it.

I have three villagers in stock -- all about 14 inches and a pound, wood handle. Good scabbard & frog. Karda and chama no good.

Just a butt-in opinion, butt...but the 16 in.GS is so handy, light and quick that shrinking it to 12" would lose too much, in addition to the high price.. The 14" villagers are a very handy size - most are BAS pattern, or the kami's interpretation of it, and so ugly they are cute...and just as tough as they are ugly. Lots of discussion in the threads about the best hiking/packing Khuk, but the villagers in this range are light enough to pack, heavy enough to do trail and camp work (not on a par with an AK, but they are still Khuks) and made for people who make their livings in the woods.

It doesn't matter. All villagers look the same -- dirty, ugly, rough, karda and chakma worthless, but tougher than hell with a good scabbard and frog.

:( Yeah, I figured that would be the answer but I had to ask anyway. BUT there's still the little Sirupatis! Maybe in a about a month or so and I'll keep the villagers, and your advice Wal, in mind as well.

Thanks
