I mentioned in another post that I had just acquired a 12 inch Sirupati, and very cute and pretty knife it is. However, considering its diminuative size, what would you use it for?

Compared to my other HI products, I'm thinking of mine as a pocket knife! It's even smaller than my Mini Khukuri.:D

Next to the classic Randall #1-7 fighting knife, it's got an inch longer blade. Think about that a bit!

In the world of HI that's a small knife but as Rusty pointed out in the general knife world a 12 incher isn't all that small.

It is probably the best khukuri for concealed carry -- a shoulder rig, under the arm carry, wearing a jacket makes it invisible to everything but the xray machine.

My 12" Durba Sirupati handles real well in reverse grip in MA drills...unorthodox, but it works quite well!  :)

DD,
"CUTE"!! A K is NOT "CUTE"! BUT THEN AGAIN, A 12" IS not A REAL K! What is it good for, well let me see,Oh yeah, good for "little old ladies" to use in their gardens,or someone on meds who "likes" hairychested nurses,or as a "POOPER SCOOPER"!TOWN,M/A WITH A wimpy 12"!! Hmmm, perhaps I was wrong and Tsimi is just more gentle and mild mannered when he is fishing or has just came back.
Looks to me like Tsimi may be reverting back to his own paranoid and delusional self.:( ;) :p :D
