12 yr captures convict with sword

Here I was thinking that the kid was holding someone at sword point for buying an ugly knife. What a cool story.

Read the story, 3 cheers for the kid...nice to know that not all you people today are nice pen raised sheeple!

I especially like this quote:

"They were basically decorations," Cary said. "But he told Joshua he needed to take care of his mom and sister, and he did."

I bet no one at school tries to mess with that kid once word gets around! Good for him.

I'm thinking it's lucky he didn't have to actually use that sword 'cause I've got that shop at home network guy who broke that $45 sword in my head...
:D

I saw that clip. The fellow is lucky, it could have been much worse.

I read this article finally in today's paper. The kid was 14 though.

Always glad to see a positive 'knife' story but... I'm very glad the perp was a half-hearted type as this story very well could have had a very tragic different ending.
