120 General ?

ok i got asked what would be in the box of a 1964 Buck stamped fixed blade?
some one asked me as he is thinking of buying a early buck
but it has no number on the blade
and 'buck' reads point down no dots either
from how long he says it is could be a 120
as youa'l know i dont do fixed blades..
but told him some here do and
like as not some one would look it up to see..
i dont think it is a local sale as he said we could not go see it
so i dont know what else to add

Dave, in 1964 the Buck General would have a one line stamp that read blade down that said BUCK. It would also have a 7.5 inch blade.

The 124 Frontiersman has a 7 inch blade and wasn't introduced till 1967.
