Hey all,

Can anyone give me any info on the 126OT? I searched Clemente's book and couldn't find any info on it. I'm pretty sure it's the same as a 125OT only with stainless blades if I remember correctly. Also, does this look like it was one that was scheduled to be scrimmed at one time and just not made it to production or did they use this white handle frequently with the 126? Any help is appreciated.

DB you are right about 126OT, it is the same as the 125OT except with the SS blades. Handles could be a variety of those, I have a 123OT with white handles and red handles, although I have never seen a 126OT with the regular Brown OT sawcut scales.

I have a 126OT on my web site in standard browm. If you can make out my avitar its for a 226OT..
these were made for Europe

Robert Clemente's book is a catalog history of Schrade. The 126 does not appear in any of the catalogs I have from 1973 through 2004. I did include it in the list I posted in the sticky: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=378724&page=6
and also on AAPK. However, IIRC, the info on the knife came from Larry.
Schrade was in the business of making knives, not catalogs. :D The accuracy of the catalogs is suspect, in my opinion.
I recently got a 50UH, which I can find no reference to anywhere, except on Larry's site.
There are a number of knives that did not appear in the US catalogs.

Thanks Dale. I'm moving a couple of knives so as to refine my collecting a bit and just didn't know much about the knife.

DB where are you moving the knife to, you could always move it my way if so inclined, just a thought.

Rusty,
As luck would have it, it should be on a public forum extremely soon and can be made to move in any direction. :D I'm moving a lot of them in the next week or so.
